Couple quick questions....

They claim I owe their "client" Asset Acceptance $2,463.78,due in full.
Or a 60% settlement, of $1,478.27. Call within 45 days to be taken advantage of, err......To take advantage of offer!
Problem is, ERS was never able to validate a previous claim.
and, unless I'm wrong, and I'm sure I am, but ERS really can't collect on something that AA has NEVER validated either?? Can they??
I do know, from what I've read here, that AA can't continue collecting, if disputed, and/or never properly validated.
I'm guessing the whole situation starts over, with the changing of hands?
Besides, whatever they're pretending to collect, they can't. Since the SOL went SOL back in Oct or Nov 2008! And to my knowledge now, is no longer listed on CR.
Will get a CMRRR DV letter ready to go and sent out ASAP.
Unless I should go stronger, since they're SOL-JWF because of SOL?
As always, information much appreciated!
Thanks.

Last time I recall doing anything with any account I had, or what they're claiming I owe now, was early 2001, maybe no later than mid 2001. Definitely nothing in 2002.
Last check of CR, nothing was listed. Anything that was there had fallen, due to SOL.
Either way, I'll have a letter out shortly.
