Right Direxion: Do customers think of it as a scam?
Who is Right Direxion Inc.?
They are not listed with BBB nor I could find much info about them on the net or any Right Direxion Inc complaints. May be someone more knowledgeable would soon be around to help.

Are there any incidents of Right Direxion scam?
well if it sounds too easy than it probably is. first of all the facts are that most of us here haven't heard of this company. Which means that they are really new, or it could be a new scam. If any one know s of a Right Direxion Inc scam should let us know. red flags are no address? only telephone number? i don't know just my opinion i wouldn't put my finances into a new company since they haven't proven their track record yet. I know everyone has got to start somewhere but it doesn't have to be with me. i want to see how well they have worked for others first before i would want to sign on with someone. there are other repitable companies out there that have proven to do a great job. i personally would choose them over someone no one has ever heard anything about. but then again thats just my opinion
A little about Right Direxion Inc.
I found the following on thier website:
In today's tough economic times, more and more credit card companies are willing to forgive or settle credit card debts for much less than the full amount owed.
In some cases, debt settlement or debt negotiation can save you up to 70% or more! If your unsecured credit card debt has become too much to handle alone, Right Direxion can work with your creditors to help relieve your burden of debt.
You no longer need to struggle. We work on your behalf to settle your unsecured credit card debt.
It looks to me like all they do is settle your debt, which becomes taxable income once debt is forgiven. This is something anyone can do on their own without getting an unknown company involved in your personal finances.
Right Direxion debt settlement company
absolutely true people can do this on their own, but a lot of others for whatever reason need help, or don't feel like they can do this on their own and would rather leave it to people that know what they are doing.
but to add, most people that are in settlement can file a 982 form through the irs that forgives them of the debt forgiven and they don't have to pay the tax consequences.
Right Direxion,Inc.
I too received one of these things, the second in about a month. To my mind, this couldn't be good to your credit score. I googled for this and indeed what happens is you basically go past due on all your credit accounts and accumulate whatever the settlement is in an account that is used to pay off the settled amount (less the consolidators fee). Remember, this trashes your credit score. Granted in the current economic crisis, no one is issuing new credit so arguably no big deal. But if you want to work with this company chek out with the BBB to see if they are listed and if there are any Right Direxion Inc complaints registered against them.
Should you work with Right Direxion debt settlement company?
people that cant pay thier bills anymore and can barely eat, are not really concerned with thier credit score at that point. If they are truely in need of settlement thier score is probably crap anyhow.
No Right Direxion Inc complaints
I looked them up and didn't find much. If they're new, it explains much. They have a few things going in their favor. First, their disclaimer about NOT helping to repair credit helps. Second, their literature is pretty professional-looking, and does not have a lot of "client" testimony.
Being someone who owes a lot to credit card companies for ones reason or another, I felt I needed help getting out, so I decided, after much thought and family consultation, to go with Right Direxiony. If I find out stories of Right Direxion scam being true after all, I take full responsibility for not seeing it. Hopefully, however, my 36-month plan will see fruition.
Should I opt for Right Direxion?
i honestly would be uncomfortable placing my finances with someone who hasn't proven their track record yet. I know they gotta start somewhere but it doesn't have to be me! LOL, it just would make me nervous since they haven't proven how well they do yet. just my opinion of course
Can anyone give information on Who is Right Direxion Inc.?
I received an offer from them in the mail today but not sure if I will call since I've never heard of them. Has anyone had a good experience with any debt consolidation company that they would like to recommend? I'd prefer to not hurt my credit but I hate seeing my balances barely drop because of all the money I am paying in interest. Thanks.
Right Direxion debt settlement company
I just received information from Right Dirextion,Inc. I found information from the following website helpful: rightdirexion .com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1
The company wants the customer to set up an account and place money in the account for several months before they begin negotiations with the credit card companies. In addition, they want the customer to voluntarily stop paying the credit card companies in order to place the account(s) in default. This, they claim, aids them in their negotiations. This will definitely have a negative impact on the customer's credit. But, as they say, they are NOT a credit repair company. This seems to be a company for people who already have bad credit and are one step away from bankruptcy.
About Right Direxion debt settlement
its a settlement company and thats how settlement works and it definitly craps your score. BUT most people in need of settlements score is already crap and have no other choice than bk. thats why they do settlement
Right Direxion
Same solicitation as others. EXCEPT, it quotes a specific outstanding balance! WITHOUT IRONY, I received this solicitation within a month of ordering an annual credit report from Equifax. The solicitation quoted the figure from Equifax!!!!!!
MY advice, assume they are illigetimate until proven otherwise. And I have an issue with Equifax.
Knowledge of any Right Direxion scam stories?
I got the same thing and we actually signed up but we were having second thoughts.....any experience with them or any knowledge would help please :)

I have been in the same program with Right Direxion and just had my sister sign up as well. I had 37k in credit card debt so even though I was making my payments on time my credit was already screwed up due to the high debt to income ratio. Whose going to lend money to someone whose already 37k in debt? My priority is getting this debt taken care of within the next 36 months once and for all. If I don't, I will continue to pay $1200 a month just to reduce the principal by about $200 so after 3 years I will have spent 43k in min. payments and I will still probably owe 30k. Now, my monthly deposit is only $645 and they've already settled 2 of my accounts. And, they have helped me with stopping the phone calls which was a big concern. These guys know what they're doing. That's why I told my sister to call them. Quote:

It sounds too good to be true but I called Right Direxion anyway out of curiosity. They're steering you away from reputable sources so they can scam you out of your hard earned money themselves. When the representative start slinging mud at another debt consolidator or a legal service ...... run!

I looked into this company after receiving their letter in the mail. After doin homework I went with their program. The guy was very knowledgable and had a lot of good points. If anything, the credit card companies are the scam. Im current on all my debts, but i refuse to pay any more after they raised my interest rates. I m one of the few who dont fall for the propaganda that my credit score is more important than getting rid of this debt once and for all. My credit will be better when this debt is finally gone. Take a look at the monthly amount you pay towards reducing ur balance...its a joke. Keep your debt and your credit score...im jumping off this bandwagon.

As usual people who are in need get the royal screws from vultures. Always check with the BBB for reputable businesses and try to find people either by mouth to mouth or a blog who have had business with the VULTURES. I DEFINATELY WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY or any other quick fix. (DEBT ELIMINATION) by making minimum payments on all credit cards except highest interest card (where you scrimp and save)(eating bologna if you have to) and banging as much as you can until one card is paid off. Then repeat the process for every other card is the best way and the cheapest way to be debt free.

I just called them today as well. Everything I read above seems the same, too good to be true, but I'm like the others needing debt relief, I want to know how the "stimulus package" is setup to eliminate the debts for individuals. The process of letting your debt go unpaid for 6 months just seems fishy, but also has some viability to it. I am going to call some others with similar radio adds. Would love more input.

Just got one of these letters in the mail...So they are still looking for people..I'm very skeptical, because there is no real information on the letter. I'm afraid not paying my bills on time and sending them money to pay my bills just sound fishy....

I would take it to your local accountant and have him/her take a look at it. I think it is a scam, but it is worth having a professional look at it.

I tried getting info on the company Right Dirextion for two days. They cannot give info where they are licensed. The companies they use for references either have not heard of them or the phones just ring with no answers.
I kept calling back and getting different counslers to get more info just to make sure they were legit and they were very upset because I didn't trust them.

To know how they arrived at the amount you owe, you need to send a debt validation letter to them through CMRRR. Take help from the available sample letters to draft yours.

I got this "offer" the same day my credit card company sent me yet another lagit offer to finance 15K unsecured @ 2.99% for the next two years. You'd have to be really retarded to need help trashing your credit. It sounds like if you are, these people can certanly help you! (Sorry Sarah)

Dont be scam!!! They will not return your money if you cancel... You can do the same by talking to your credit card companies yourself. Using them will destroyed your credit score. Your credit score is already damage but you don't neeed a company to do it for you. Comments from rightdirextion. NOT WELCOME!!!!

Scam, Scam, Scam
I have received 2 'notices' from this 'company'. The BBB gives them a score of F but the real giveaway is the bogus address. They are listed as working out of offices in Florida and California. The notice I received was a phony government-looking document, with a bogus D.C. address. The BBB search showed the exact same Florida address as the other 'notice'.
This industry is mostly carpetbaggers skimming money off folks who have hit hard times.
If you have not defaulted on a Mortgage, but have untenable credit card debt, then Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is your best bet.
These scammers take 15 to 25% off the top, trash your credit score just as bad as if you went bankrupt, and leave you owing not only the credit card companies but can cost you more.
Do your homework and research the industry. There's a reason BBB gives the whole lot of them the worst possible score.

I received the famous letter today and still thinking if I should or not go with this program, what really keeps me from not doing it is that eventhough I am living paycheck to paycheck, my credit is still good, I agree with someone who said the best way to get debt free is pay one credit card at a time, not enough info from this guys is the other reason, definitely...

How is your program going?
Debt Settlement Scams
I really feel for those people who are in debt and have tried to use one of the many unscrupulous debt settlement companies. Having been in over $130,000 in debt, I am all too familiar with the desperation.
We all want someone to rescue us when we are in trouble, but often the best solution is to help yourself.
Recently, I settled my $130,000 of unsecured debt for $40,000. I did it myself with the help of Consumer Recovery Network's DIY program. Total cost for the help was $1150.
Stay tuned, stay afloat. WEALTH AND FREEDOM ARE IN YOUR FUTURE!
