I agree, because one thing is sure: once these PDL's get even a whiff of the fact that you are not going to pay them on the due dates, they will hit your account faster than a New York minute. I would make sure your account is closed and your new account is in place TODAY and then send your letters. Whatever you do, make sure you don't give them the new number. This is the first step towards breaking the PDL cycle and I wish you luck.

Most of the guys fail to take the required action and as you have tried to dare and thus really an appreciable action from you.but i must admit that you need to fasten the process to get quicker results.

Its me I finally reg on the forum. I have some information I have found and just want to update so if anyone out there may need it. The Dept. of Corp in California has a C&D order against Norstar Cash. This is one of my Internet PDL's. So The order was done at the begining of this year and they gave me a loan just last month. So I am sending them a copy of this order with my Revoke of ACH letter and wage assaignment. I am crossing my fingers that they will just accept my remaining principal and leave me be. Is there anyone else here who has had success with using these C&D orders? Please let me know, it would be nice to hear good news. Plus the biggest part here that I am stressing about is my job getting calls.

I have a question on the letter I send to my Payroll dept. Do I need to name the PDL company or can I just state no one has the right to do a voluntary wage assignment?

contact your AG office for a different point of view.i never advise contacting the banking or corporate sectors for this.they will tow the pdl line.your AG will enforce the pdl laws as they are.not how some entities interpret the law.

Sorry for panicing. I just lost it today. I have everything in place and just thinking the worst is going to happen. I am negitive alot. I did read my employee manuel at work and its stated they will only do wage garnishment/assignments with a state court order, so that felt good to know. I did write my local congressman in regards to the illegal PDL's , dont expect much though.

I am preparing all my letters this week and complaints. And 1 of the companies I am not positive is a PDL, Its Discountadvance. I am in Cali, I check to see if there is a license to do business in Cali and no they do not. Before I finish their letter can someone let me know any info on them that may help me deal with them. Definitely NOT legal. I believe they are licensed in New Mexico, at least they use to be, it wouldn't apply to you though because Ca. requires they be licensed by your state.

Good to know. I have paid them $625 on a $500 loan. So I will just tell them we are even then. LOL... I bet they wont like that since they say I owe $317. I want to thank eveyone here for the continue support even though I break down sometimes. It's hard since I really dont have any family or friends. So please accept my apologizes now if I loose it once in a while and panic. This is so new to me not paying a bill. (even if its illegal) Hope everyone here haves a great weekend. Oh one more question if I have a chance to change my number should I or will this just make them call my work number more?

Does anyone out there have any experience with the following internet PDL's. OneClickCash, UnitedCashLoans, VIP, Norstar, Integrety,and Discountadvance. I am looking for information on what to expect. I will default as of 11-27. How soon will the harassing calls begin. I am so scared right now, but I am willing to fight. But knowing the majority of them are Tribal Nations really bothers me. 2 of them I have over paid, the other I owe from $200 to 300 on the principal. So any suggestions is great to get me going, I have my Revoke letters, C&D Letters, and Complaints ready to all go out the 24th. Your wisdom is greatly needed. Thank you

I am sure that loads of information would show up if you search these lenders on the site. You can also check the state laws here for equipping yourself better in your fight.

Guess what, I got a call from The Loan Shop telling me I have been such a great customer with other loans that they are willing to give me another loan for $300.. That is so nice of them... What a complete JOKE. I will never ever take another one of these out again.

One thing we have going for us as California residents is that our state is very proactive against IPDL's. I would do these things: definately call Jerry Brown's (State AG) office and tell them the situation, and then call the Dept of Corporations, telling them that you want to file a claim against this company, since California has a cease and desist order against them. Get the names of everyone you talk to at these places.
Print out a copy of the C and D order that you found (I assume) at the California.gov website. And when this company calls (and they will, I assure you), let them know about the order and offer to fax it to them if needed. Tell them that you will only pay them what you actually borrowed, as a matter of principle--and then your loan is paid in full. And if they continue to pursue you, you will file against them!

Well, i have an up date I have been making alot of phone calls to the Department of Corps in regards to Unitedcashloans and Oneclickcash. There is a C&D order but it was sent back to another court due to them claming that they are tribal and do not have to follow state law. Well I am glad to say the Department of Corps has not given up. They are still trying to prove that the Tribal clam is false. So we need to keep writing in complaints and call them and dont give up we need to put as much presure on everyone to fight back these claims that they are excempt from state laws. They are lying. I have written letters to the Goveners office and also every politician I can get an address on. I think if we make California see how many victims there are out there they will have to fight till they win against this stupid Tribal claim. Thank you for all your support here.
