Bad news on swine influenza A (H1N1). Help to survive!

Everyone already knows that this epidemic is worldwide ..
in our town (population 12,500 people) have recently identified more than 50 people became infected with influenza A (H1N1).
Tell me please, what steps can be taken for prevention. . how to protect yourself and your family? Has anyone encountered this problem?

well i know this is not the place for that particular question,
well i know this is not the place for that particular question, but i just had my son to the doctors just to be sure (he was sick and 6 was infected in his kindergarden class already) and this is what they told me
1. most important PROPER and REGULAR HANDWASHING every time you change activities, carry sanitizer everywere to use after touching anything in a public place
2. keep hands away from face
3. sneeze or cough in your bent elbow not your hands
4. if your sick stay home
5. see a physician if you have any of the symptoms
These are the most important hope it helps
i know someone who has had it and they were advised not to go to

i would see a doctor, i think.. but she is feeling better now and said it was more mild than a regular flu. it is still scary though.
