If it isn't your name, then don't worry about it. Take a pen and write "does not live here" and put it out for the mailman. Million and one reasons why you might have gotten that. Wouldn't worry about it at this point.

Well, if you stated it was the wrong last name, now you say you think it is your and they just mis-spelled your name...

In the latter case, open it up, if account # is yours, then respond accordingly with DV letter or whichever fits your needs best. If it is not your account after-all, I would just close letter back up, and do as Goldenbast suggested.

If you think that this is related to you then just respond to the agency for the matter mentioned in the letter.If it is not related to you then return this letter back to the sender mentioning 'person do not live here'. its so simple.

Yeah pretty straight forward. I was under the impression that it was a totally wrong last name, not a misspelling...anyhow, check over the letter and compare and deal with it accordingly.
