Hi guys, first of all thanks for letting me know it's possible settle all this debt... I tried to pay off 30% interest on these 4 cards every month, and it just crippled my finances. I don't have a job now, but I can borrow money and do side work. Don't rent... staying with a friend. I want to pay these off ASAP, especially when I'm job hunting.

so I have 3 cards and 1 phone bill, I was wondering if you guys can give me advice about dates to wait, and when these companies will start sueing me?? I can't let that happen. So far Bofa and Citi's websites have these debt help pages, and Chase isn't bothering me. the phone bill is over 4 months overdue because AT&T charged me $900 for international roaming when i bought a data plan... didn't pay and it went to collections

Please help

1. Bofa: $8,300

2. Chase:$29,000 (2 Cards)

--83 Days Past Due

-Last Payment 8/23 - 5 K Balance
--76 Days Past Due

3. Citi: $6,300 Balance

82 Days Past Due

4. AT&T Debt Settlement Company

$1,200 Balance ($300 is their fee)

---So guys if you could tell me which card to pay off first, I think Bank of America, with a 6 month deal at 25%??

And then I think Citi card before they sue me. These guys are all charging me 30% interest every month... I can't take it anymore. i was paying all my cards on time until bank of americas 1 transfer payment voided the letter I signed refusing to 30% interest, and 1-2 days late for all other cards

thanks guys..!

If you get 25% settlement offer from BofA then certainly you'd look at settling with them.

Regarding settling with Chase, you can read the following discussion to equip yourself to deal with them.

Check here for members' experience with Citi.

It helps in knowing the nature of the lenders you are dealing with. Hope I was helpful.

Citi settled with me at 40% of 11K at around 90 days late.

Chase finally settled at 40% of 12K at around 130 days late.

B of A: I am still waiting, I just hit the 120 mark and will wait till about 150-160 to start negotiating.

Citi and Chase will allow you to split the payments into 3 or 4. I doubt you get anything longer than that. I don't know about BofA but reading this board tells me 3 payments is all you will get with them?
