Calls from ppl that offer help?

Hi, this is Ellen. I just recently signed up for this site and really only gave the minimal information that was required to get started. I believe I signed up around the 19th of October. I have in the meantime received 6-7 calls from a man named Daniel Sissle of Financial Independence, a debt settlement company. This man states that "I qualify for one of the programs" that he can guarantee that I will be out of debt and save hundreds of dollars. He is pretty persistent. I have also received 1 call from another man who basically had the exact same message to leave but as I said he only called once.
Does he work for Debt Consolidation Care or is my information given to others out there? How do I know who to trust?? I certainly do not want to get into any further trouble by getting involved with a company that does not have MY best interest in mind. Does anyone know this Daniel Sissle or Financial Independence? His # is 866-955-4173,he said his personal cell is 561-932-5332 yet the number that comes up on my caller ID is neither of these. It comes up with a 714 area code.(this is partly why I am so concerned about the legitimacy of this guy.) Any advise would be greatly appreciated.


Hi Ellen.

After doing some research I would have to say that this Daniel character is not affiliated with DebtCC. Have you given out your number to anyone else regarding debt consolidation?

The phone numbers are definately weird. 561 is based out of Boca Raton FL. and 714 is Orange county CA. It doesn't sound right to me.

Hello and thank you for replying to my post. Ya know the thing that bothers me the most is that I ONLY filled out that little request for information section from the DebtCC financial coach nobody else. How did this Daniel get MY number? Now my question is, how do I stop him from calling me. He has continued to call daily and now sounds angry when he talks to my voicemail. I just want to find help on how to get my debt under control and not get in trouble doing so. Thank you again for your reply. I appreciate your input and investigating into this on my behalf.

Tell them to stop calling you and you aren't interested. If they don't honor your request send a PM to the Admin here to let them know the situation.
