LVNV sent sheriff!!

two sheriffs came to my door today to serve me papers. i was not home.my elderly aunt got the papers, then called me at work hysterical and crying over the incident. "they had guns..."
Anyway i owe HSBC/Orcahrd bank 1710.00. I ahbe been sued and have twenty days to respond.
The lawyer listed in Apothaker and Associates of Mt. lAUREL, NL.
dOES ANYONE HERE HAVE ANY EXPEREINCE WITH COURT CASES INVOLVING LVNV OT THIS LAW FIRM?? PLEASE HELP.

I'm very sorry that your elderly aunt got exercised over this incident. But, deputy sheriffs carry guns. It's part of the uniform, for a sworn peace officer.
Meanwhile, let's turn this LVNV suit upside down and shake it, to see what falls out. Answer these questions, if you would:
What state do you live in?
When was the last time you made a charge or a payment on this account?
Have you been contacted previously by collectors, concerning this account?
If so... Who, when, and what did they say?
Have you previously demanded validation of this account from LVNV, or from another collection agency?
I have more questions, but these will get us started. So you'll know (in case you hadn't guessed), LVNV is grade one scum. Lots of us have experience with court cases involving them. And lots of us have beat them, too.
