can a US treasury check be posted, so it can be used for collateral against a loan?


The only people who could post-date a US Treasury check would be the US Treasury. I don't see that happening. I can't imagine a reputable lender agreeing to such an arrangement, either.

Why not just cash the check, and use the money for whatever? Forget the loan. You do not want to be involved in anything even remotely fishy where US Treasury checks are concerned. Trust me on this.
