AMEX - 90 days late, will not budge -- 90% lumpsump take it or leave it. She doesnt seem to care if it goes to collection at 120 days even if the creditor wants to settle at 40%. The manager i spoke to was very rude and sarcastic. I will call again end of the month. Any recent experience with AMEX? Also, they dont have a settlement department. My call was handled by billing.
CITI - (4K) 90 DAYS LATE - denied my 35% settlement. CITI wants 85%, non-negotiable and lumpsump payments only. WIll try to call again end of this month. Any recent experience with CITI?
My father in law will help with the payment so its budgeted. Do you think CITI and AMEX will settle at 40%
Thanks a lot!
settled account : Chase 2 accounts (40% at 90 days), BOA (35% at 90 days)
