I received a $300 PDL from Ameriloan on 10/3/06. Over the course of 14 months, I paid them a total of $780. I feel that I more than paid back my loan, but they don't seem to agree. I have a detailed phone call log from July '07, when I kept requesting that they send me a full breakdown of my account. Of course they didn't comply.

Flash forward to today, 11/19/09. A "Danielle with Ameriloan" called my office while I was using the restroom around 9:30am, and my boss answered (I'm the one who answers the phones normally). He told me that he thought she was a telemarketer, so told her I wasn't in and could take a message. She gave him her contact info of 800-404-9026, but no extension number.

I decided to come here to this great website, in order to read over all the posts I made way back in '07 to refresh my memory a bit. I don't have copies of CD or DV letters saved in my PDL folder stowed away in my desk (I tried to keep all hard copies of stuff from my many PDL's from '06-'07), so I assume that I never sent any.

In my notes, I have two addresses for Ameriloan. One in Miami OK, and one in Carson City NV. I want to mail out a DV-CD letter to them so that they stop calling my office. I read posts that have various addresses for them, and I want to mail my letter to the correct place. Does anyone have a good mailing address for them, that has been proved to be valid?

If you do a search on this site, you'll probablly find an address for them; if Ameriloan is part of the MNE bunch, guaranteed you'll hear from them for a while. I had a PDL w/ another MNE outfit and they're still calling me after 2 years, at least recorded messages. I can keep hanging up on them as long as they want to keep calling! As far as the PDL not calling at work; someone with more knowledge than I can possibly give the correct info but I was under the impression that Cease and Desist letters were basically for collection agencies working on behalf of PDLs, and not for the PDL.

I think another CA bought the debt from Ameriloan recently, because I was called about an hour ago from a David Johnson (of Johnson & Miller ~~yeah right). The caller ID was 866-696-8194, but his messaged stated to call 877-658-6929 x720. He ended his message with "good luck", so I know that his CA is going to violate the FDCPA left & right in trying to collect. I paid $780 on a $300 online PDL I took out 10/2006. They are not getting one more cent from this girl!

Yeah it's a pain in the butt, but I wouldn't mind ignoring the calls on my cell if that's the only calls I got from them. They called my cell, left a message, then not a minute later they called my office. Luckily I answer the phones, but my boss has fielded a call from the last CA when I was in the bathroom. I googled the callback # he provided, and it may be Oasis Financial Services, LLC, based in Jacksonville, FL. If they are Oasis, then I have addresses, etc.

If I don't have a reference/account # to place in a CD/DV letter, am I still able to send one? I can't have them calling my work, or family members either.

I received a call from the same number too...call back of 877-658-6929 x 720. The name they used was Sean Miller and that me or my attorney should call back before noon...from all I read I'm usre this is a scam, and i don't want to waste my time on the phone with them. But i'm weary if they call else where such as work or references...is there any recourse for that?

Not really, this company isn't even located in the states, your best course of action is to totally ignore them, don't speak to them at all, what they want is someone to argue with and intimidate, they will tire of calling you and your references sooner if you give them no one to argue with.

Ameriloan is located in Miami OK, on tribal lands, not outside the US. I just included them in my ch.7 bankruptcy filing on 2/22/2010, and the courts didn't have trouble sending the notification to them at their OK address.

i think shazz was meaning because they consider themselves a "sovreign nation"and are supposedly immune to the law.since they consider themselves as such.she doesn't consider them being in this country, but that's jmo.

You're right. They're also known as Pinion Management and have various location in the states. It's the tribal thing that exempts them from our laws, however, if they should decide to pursue a law suit in a non tribal court they would be no longer exempt.
My bad.

I think they are the one's who have a half-dozen AKA's. Complete bottom-feeders, I say! I would LOVE to hear that they try to file a lawsuit outside their tribal court; crash & burn. hehehehehe

I don't think they ever will, that would open them up to a vast amount of law suits!!

True but how much fun would it be for all of us who made the mistake of utilizing them to have these roaches have to actually answer to someone. I swear when the world ends of nuclear destruction the roaches and some of these bottom.feeders will be the only ones to survive. Well maybe they could then utilize all their "tactics" to attempt to get money out of each other.
