Anyone have experience with this CA? They left a message on my home phone.

ICON,

I dont know your situation, however, dont talk to these people. They will give you classic collection stuff. They will talk to you like you are the criminal, etc. Send a DV letter to them. There are samples out here. i did that. it's been over 3 weeks now. I havent gotten a validation or any calls/emails. i hope they went away for good but I am not sure......good luck

They called my workplace twice but I didn't answer thanks to caller ID on my phone. (If I don't recognize the number, I'll let it go to voicemail.) Finally I get an email stating that they'll have to start validating my info if I don't respond. I can't respond via email because they can't guarantee they'll get it. The only way I can be sure this matter will be handled is to call them. Right.

I drafted up a DV that I'm going to fax them and send certified mail in case they want to claim they didn't get the fax.

Yes, it is regarding one of my illegal PDLs. Now, just so I'm straight....if a PDL is unlicensed in their locale and lends to a borrower who lives in a state where it's prohibited, it makes the loan illegal and uncollectible in some states and the borrower liable for only the principal. I want to pass this knowledge to LRA and I want to make certain I'm right.

LRA is able to collect debt LEGALLY in almost every state, and they follow the FDCPA like it was the bible. When my PDL was in their office they didn't treat me like a criminal, they treated me like a human being and wanted to help me. They help those who want to help themselves. I don't know what you guess are complaining about. You took out the payday loan, you signed the contract, you are responsible to pay back the money.
They were extremely nice to me and worked with me on paying back my PDL. They even put me on a hardship payment plan because money was really tight at that time.
Take care of your responsibilities and maybe there wouldn't be a problem

so if they are not licensed in a certain state, and treat that person like a criminal which they do routinely.that is legal how again?also if i paid an illegal lender 550.00 on a 250.00 loan then i don't need any help from a bottomfeeder.i agree irishpat, the humanoid needs to get back to the phones.
