Ok....I need help badly if any of you are willing to donate points to me. I have two infected wisdom teeth that are need to come out Friday. I am $95 short after calling in all favors from everywhere and the points that I already have.... Plus Friday is the last day of my dental insurance so if I wait longer it will cost even more. I look like a friggin chipmunk and the pain has been rough. I promise I will pay it forward!

Hi Sudsy -

I'd just as soon not donate you any points, because I don't think you could get them cashed out in time to help, what with the holiday.

But... Have you got PayPal, or some other way I can get some $$ to you immediately? Let me know how we can do it, and how short you still are.

I've been there and done the infected teeth thing, and it ain't no fun. Probably why I ain't got any teeth anymore... Relax. Enjoy the good drugs the nice Dr. gives you. We'll get you through this.

Beat -

A few years ago one of my wisdom's got infected (I got lock-jaw that lasted 2 weeks after I had the tooth pulled). On the doctor's advice, I had him him pull all 4 just so they wouldn't become another problem in the future.

But because mine were impacted (?, I think that's what he called it), it was all covered under my medical insurance. I didn't file any claims with the dental insurance, just my medical. They even paid out more than the procedure cost, and so the dentist ended up giving me back about $200.

Don't know if that's a possibility for you, but maybe you can see if your medical covers any part of the surgery......
