well by the end of january i hopefully will have 2 of my credit card accounts paid in full. discover will be paid off by the end of june, and i have paid off one of my personal loans with my credit union and i have another year and half to pay off the other one. i am getting down to the wire and as nice of a feeling that is i gotta say i feel anxious. i want to take a new loan from the credit union (psychologically i feel the need to but, reallistically i know i do not need to do that). i say this because when i actually wrote it down on paper that was the case all along it is coming down to the wire and i want this be over and done with. quicker than yesturday. I also feel that this is the trigger point for me bcuz as much as i want all this stuff paid off, i keep psyching myself up to justify getting a new cc or applying for a new loan. so i just need support and feedback from you guys because i know you been there and can relate.

i know it's tempting but this can be handled in other ways.
are any of these accounts in collections?

yes, all three of them,

i know i dont need to borrow money nor do i need to apply for any cards
i just needed to get that off my chest becuz it has been on my mind and driving me krazy for the i don't know how long. then i sat down one day and wrote it out on paper there it was in black and white and i had to admit to myself that i have had a problem. and i need to get a handle on
this.

it is understandable, you get used to doing things and a pattern happens. the thing is credit is not given away as freely anymore and you might really really need it one day.

once you get used to not having credit to rely on and paying in cash it does get easier.

AMEN! I could not agree more. The worst part for me right now is that I dug myself out of a similar situation years ago ..... and now I am back in it which means the universe feels I didn't learn my lesson. I plan on staying on this site forever so that I remember this time. :p
