i have been there and would not advise borrowing money to pay off debt. you even said you do not need to do this :)
i know it's tempting but this can be handled in other ways.
are any of these accounts in collections?

yes, all three of them,
i know i dont need to borrow money nor do i need to apply for any cards
i just needed to get that off my chest becuz it has been on my mind and driving me krazy for the i don't know how long. then i sat down one day and wrote it out on paper there it was in black and white and i had to admit to myself that i have had a problem. and i need to get a handle on
this.

it is understandable, you get used to doing things and a pattern happens. the thing is credit is not given away as freely anymore and you might really really need it one day.

AMEN! I could not agree more. The worst part for me right now is that I dug myself out of a similar situation years ago ..... and now I am back in it which means the universe feels I didn't learn my lesson. I plan on staying on this site forever so that I remember this time. :p
