Did they make you close your cards or lower the limits to the outstanding balance? i understand why they do this, just wanted to know. Home Depot (AKA Citi) keeps lowering my card to just above what i owe even tho i have maxed the card and paid in full 3 times in the last 4 years. Never missed a payment or been 1 day late. Called to ask if my limit could be raised to what it used to be and they wouldnt budge. asked to speak to someone in retention, but CSR wouldnt transfer me.
