Hello. I have 4 internet payday loans that we are about to default on. (We've only made one "extension" for each). We closed our bank account and decided to go with Oak View Law Group (from the ad on this site) after careful consideration of doing it ourselves. We decided that we could pay the monthly amt to them and we'd feel better having someone else fighting for us and were willing to lose those fees. (I know most of you disagree with that, but it's best for us). My question is that even if you are working with a settlement company, how long do the companies wait before they threaten or attempt a suit. The amounts are for 500 each, and as I've said, we've paid 88 on each of them once. 3 of them are legal in our state, one is not (mycashnow)...we are just worried about the possibility of a suit, even though we are planning on using OVLG...our "program" would be 9 months...they say that for that small of an amount they probably won't bother, but still...
any thoughts?? Thanks and good luck to all of you in the battle and thanks to those that have been and are helping guide us!
