Well, defaulting on a loan wouldn't probably stop you from getting another account with another bank. But if you have unresolved overdrawn charges and are reported to Chexsystem then you might face issues.

i believe as long as you make arrangements to pay off the fees than you will not be reported. if reported to chexsystems you will have trouble opening accounts elsewhere.
