When he got on the phone, I told him that I wasn't fighting, I just wanted validation. He proceeds to tell me that they sent me validation, for which I got NOTHING from this company, then tell me that he provides information at HIS discretion and he also told me that he doesn't have to send me anything. I told him that I just wanted to know how much I borrowed, how many payments I made and how much I owe. He told me that he was not my bookkeeper and to check my bank statements. He also told me that he owned the loan now. I asked him if he owned the loan, why he couldn't give me any information. He told me that he knows what I am trying to do, and they are going to proceed with legal actions. Can they do this? They would not give me any information except that I owed them. Another strange thing is my caller ID gave 412-567-1998. That is a Pittsburgh area code and they are located in Tenesee. The guy who I spoke with was Ken Roth. |
this is a bottomfeeder.btw they more than likely sent a wage assignment.a garnishment requires a court order.btw he just contradicted himself in that call.if the garnishment was legit then there already was a legal action.he is a dumba$$.i hope your payroll doesn't,or didn't honor that assignment as that is voluntary and revocable.to answer your first question they must be new because i never heard of them, but they are a bottomfeeding collector just by how they acted on the phone.

I am sick over this! Thank you for your insight. Actually the thing they faxed says "employment verification" a the the top, that requires my date of hire, blah, blah, and at the bottom it indicates, "Wage Garnishment, thank you for your cooperation" and the lady's name.
Don't they HAVE to send me the validation of what I borrowed?

yes,but a bottomfeeder collecting on a pdl doesn't care about the law.that is why they should be sued themselves.
So, what should I do? Write them a validation letter?
