I applied for a credit card online with TDBank - just got the card but I'm not satisfied with the interest rate. im wondering a few things now - you think they would be willing to lower the interest rate? if i were to cancel the card prior to use how would that effect my credit, and how would i ensure they actually canceled the card so it doesnt come back to bite me? thanks for any help in advance

just an update, called up tdbank who issued the card, said i dont like the rate and wanted it closed. they didnt put up a fight at all, didnt offer me a better rate. in fact told me flat out there isnt a better rate available. i said fine, just put in writing that it is being closed at my request and my credit will reflect same and close it up! done and done!
