is cash advance network legal? i'm starting to get calls on a debt from them from 2006. i certainly paid at least the principle and then some back

CAN is part of MTE and legal nowhere.if a place is illegal you only owe the principle.the only thing they can try is a WAGE ASSIGNMENT.that is voluntary and revocable.as far as suing.no way,they claim the bogus "tribal immunity" BS so they will never sue in court.i would file AG, and FTC complaints and give a WAGE ASSIGNMENT REVOCATION letter to your payroll person.then tell them to pound sand.
