Hi there, let me do a little research then I will get back with you, meanwhile read your payday loan laws below:
http://www.paydayloaninfo.org/stateinfo/TX.asp
Payday lenders must be licensed in your state in order to lend to your state residents, see the link below for the pdl licensee data base:
http://168.39.159.59/default.asp

One other thing; there are another type of lender in your state who may appear to be a payday lender when in fact they are operating as a CSO. Basically, a CSO or Credit Services Organization is defined by the Texas Credit Services Organization Act (Section 393 of the Texas Finance Code) as an entity or person that provides one of the following services:
*Improving a consumer's credit history or rating
*Obtaining an extension of consumer credit for the consumer
*Providing advice or assistance to a consumer regarding the previous two services
Please bear in mind the CSO or Credit Services Organization model (unfortunately) IS NO LICENSING required by the state! CSO's are required to "Register" with the Secretary of State, they are NOT licensed, and their fees ARE NOT REGULATED.
If you CLICK HERE you can search the Credit Services Organization data base, but keep in mind that some lenders use dba names.

Payday One, aka Exchange Services Inc. is licensed as a payday lender in your state, they are not listed as a CSO. Even though they do not appear as a member of the CFSA (Community Financial Services Association of America) (see link below) I believe they are members, if I were you I would ask them because if they are this means you are eligible for an EPP from them also. I do not think any of your other pdl's are licensed lenders, make sure you check the licensee data base at the link I gave you above and the CSO data base also to be 100% sure, but I am pretty sure they aren't licensed lenders. So, get your account closed asap! Deal with the two licensed lenders you have first and foremost, then, you can work something out with the unlicensed ones. They will call and threaten you, harass you, etc. etc. but the chances of them suing you in nill, I just don't think an unlicensed lenders would have the nerve to walk into a court of law. They will probably turn you over to a collection agency but if they do you have some recourse with them. If they do turn you over to a collection agency just post on the forum and we will guide you through that also.
