mortgage late fee waive

I paid my home loan bill over the phone and made a deposit on my account the same day but after hours. Mortgage company charged once and returned check for insuf funds, and charged late fee. However, comerica bank saying they could try up to 3 times. Can I try to wright them a letter asking to waive the late fees? Thanks!

you can try and it doesnt hurt to ask, i had a issue with the bank over insuf funds once and they wiped it away, and onther time they didnt but hey, what do you got to loose by asking?? you miswell atleast try the worst case scenerio they say no and you still are in the same boat and have to pay it right?
