I wonder what their stance on this would be.. I never thought to contact them. I wonder who they will side with?

i dont know, but I am going to give it a try. I am going to let them know I have contacted BBB, FTC, AG, Dept of Corps, and also writen to media and Senators ect.

Contacting them can't hurt--but my gut feeling is that nothing will come of it. Remember, many Indian reservations also have casinos, which support gambling, and look how many people get hurt by that? Just my two cents....

yea i am actually thinking they will side with them for immunity.. many people (even public and legal departments) are still not familiar with payday loans and laws, etc. but it would be interesting to contact them to see what they will say.

I've asked before if anyone had contacted the tribal leaders on the lands where the PDLs are located, but I admit that contacting the Bureau of Indian Affairs hadn't occurred to me! Many Indian lands DO have casinos, but they're physically located on the land or by people who actually live and work on the landsand running the business there, not just "renting" the address to escape the law. So many there WOULD be a difference between casinos and PDLs? At any rate, please let us know if you hear from them, it would be interesting to hear what they have to say.
