Perhaps when filing complaints with AGs, it may not hurt to look up the Consumer Protection Units/Divisions of the Department of Justice in the states where the PDLs are located (if they are based in the US).

I got a letter today from the State of Delaware Dept of Justice Consumer Protection Unit, whom my original correspondence to the AG was forwarded to, regarding one of my PDLs. Attached was a copy of letter from the PDL's attorney, stating that the PDL is ceasing to "engage in any transactions in the state of Delaware and has canceled the transaction involving the referenced."

Beal2ls, I'm in NY (whose AG is totally useless). In addition to filing complaints with my state AG, I also filed them with the AG's in the states where my PDLs had physical addresses. I had filed a complaint with Delaware's AG about one of my PDLs. Their office sent me a letter stating that they didn't handle such complaints and that they were forwarding my letter to the Delaware Department of Justice's Consumer Protection Unit, which was where my complaint should have been sent in the first place. The letter I received today was from the CPU, accompanied with a letter from the PDL's attorney.
