help getting my money back from Mann Bracken

Hello.
I got a letter from mann bracken sayinf that they took over my loan with sallie mae- i started sending payments to them and have sent approx $350.00. Well Sallie Mae called me yesterday and said that they have NOTHING to do with Mann Bracken and this means the have been ripping me off. PLEASE HELP where do I go from here - I need my money back. should I sue them??

Yes, if you have been deceived then you must pursue them to get your money back.
Your case is a classic example why one shouldn't make payments to a collection agency without verifying the account.

Pleaseeeeeeee contact your state Attorney General's office asap and file a complaint with detailed information about what happened. You should also hire an attorney to help you.
