Ok, I have been trying to research Credit Protection Depot, cause they I guess are handling my illegal PDL with Discountadvances.com and guess what the BBB report says that their rating is a NR and that this company is no longer in business. Well they are calling me???

these places do alot of crazy things like put it out there that they are no longer around to throw off AG'S,and the BBB.do a search in the bar and you should be able to gleen an address from there.i personally don't believe they are out of business for a second.

The Credit Protection Depot is a big joke. They will threaten and harass the crap out of you. Tell them you want to know the state they are licensed in, and you demand your dunning letter in the mail as required by the FDCPA. Make it clear if they are unwilling to abide by the law, to stop calling or contacting you. Then file a complaint against them with the FTC. You can file more than one complaint with the FTC.

Yes, the key to filing a GOOD complaint, and one that you know will be seen is details. In the beginning of the complaint you need to summarize the problem, provide details, ei. name, address, ph number, etc. of the company you are complaining about, etc. This will determine whether your complaint will be placed in a "to do" pile or a "needs immediate review" pile. I guess my point is a well written complaint seems to receive attention quicker than one that isn't well written.

Thank you Shazzers, I will start to rewrite my complaints this week. I am having a hard time this week emotionally. These last 4 are really bothering me. Trying to stay strong. I get about 6-8 unknown calls a day. No mess being left. VIPloanshop and Discountadvances I over paid, I was not going to ask for a refund just a PIF, but they are ignoring my letters & emails so I think I will start asking for a refund and see what happens. And oneclickcash and unitedcashloans I think is the ones I am the most scared of. UGH !!!! sorry for venting.
