Collection Agency Question
Date: Tue, 01/05/2010 - 10:46
When I contacted the credit union they advised me that the debt is being handled by a 3rd party CRB Collections.
CRB is not on my credit report at all. i am looking to settle this debt ASAP. Should I deal with the 3rd party collection agency even though they are not showing on my report.
Any help and advice would be terrific!
Thanks

Ask the 3rd party to have the collection agency remove that item off your credit report since they are no longer handling the account. Most of the time they will & definitely get a PIF letter as back up.
