What do you mean by staying covered?

We normally suggest the members to use their debit cards or moneygram while making payments to collection agencies. You must also obtain written confirmation from the CA once the payment has been made. It is often seen that a debt can resurface with another collection agency at a later date even when the debtor has satisfied it.

Can you explain to me why debit cards are recommended for payments? Seems to me that ties into my bank account. Or do you mean those pre-paid debit cards?
