I feel a sense of obligation to this website because it has helped me so so tremendously.

Alittle over a year ago to date, I was exactly where you are,STRESSED THE HELL OUT! I had a total of 8 PDL's that were all eating away at every single paycheck leaving me nothing to pay any of my bills with or to even take care of simple things like getting to and from work. I'd spent many days and night just depressed, angry and upset.

NO MORE, thank GOD and the endless advise that I'd received from this site. To all you residing in the state of MD and maybe even for those that reside in other states where PDL are illegal, please cotact your state dept of labor, licensing and regulation office about your PDL predators. Please belive me when I tell you that they will indeed help you.

Good Luck and it WILL be over soon!

yes, it was Suzanne. She has been sought of my muscle with all of this. She has helped me get the PDL and collection phone calls stopped. Whenever I received a phone call from a PDL or one of their collection companies, I would tell them that all phone calls to me regarding my loan is stop immediately and that they would need to speak with my representative that is now handling all of my PDL's. They would of course call Suzanne probably thinking that she some kind of debt consolidator working on my behalf to help them recoup some of their money but she gets their information, inform them that their lending services in the state of MD is illegal and that they cannot collect on this debt. She would then report them to their state licensing regulation office for further action to be taken. She's great and has truely helped me alot.

I have talked to Suzanne once and she helped me out clarifying certain things for me.
But as for the PDLs I did everything myself and I discovered that even the worst of them will actually stop debiting your account once their authorization has beeen revoked.
This happened only because I overpaid all of them, I didn't owe them any principal so they just probably realized they can't get me.
I feel lucky indeed to be a MD resident.
