how can I settle debt without filing backruptcy?

Bankruptcy is not a way to settle debts. The purpose of bankruptcy is to give a new start to the borrower when his debt situation is otherwise unmanageable.

You can settle debts through a debt settlement program either by joining a company or by doing it yourself.

This site offers free credit consultation. You may sign up for that to know about your options.

I was once heavily burdened by my credit card debt. In fact, I had 5 cards at that time and all my payments for each were in default. Debt settlement was what I was praying for. Luckily, I got me part time jobs and other sources of extra income & stepped up on my dues. I'm debt-free now. Thank God!
