I have 6 internet payday loans currently. As of this post I am current on all of them. I am tired of my paychecks being depleted by 60% or so from fees associated with the loans however. How can I find out if they loans are licensed in my state? I have the following:
1. CashNetUsa $1769.26 Owed - No principal paid yet
2. Ameriloan $325.00 Owed -

Since Texas follows the CSO model, pdl lenders can operate legally as Credit Service Organisations even when they are not licensed by the state. However, the CSOs are required to register with the Secretary of State. You can check the registered CSOs in the following link.
