Debit block or close account?

Would it be better to do a hard block on my checking account or close the account and open another? Both my husband and I have our paychecks automatically deposited into the account. I have put a stop payment against 500FastCash and MyCashTime but I understand that 500FAstCash can be pretty sneaky in getting the money out.

read the sticky about closing accounts first, than close it. blocking it is only a temporary fix. confirm with the bank manager that closing your account will not allow ACH to push it back open though.
