someone named reena called my home this evening, asking for my husband , she would not say what the call was in feference to, so I gave the phone to my husband. When my husband asked who it was, she said,"you are shouting at me", my husband replied, "I have a loud voice, what is this call in reference to?", she then said, I will go through with the lawsuit, and I'm hanging up.

Yes, definitely check to see if there's a lawsuit against your husband, but to be honest, most legitimate debt collectors that will sue someone will not call you up and act like that. To me this smacks of pure harassment by some bottom feeder that thinks they can bully people into paying money.
