Hey, I just sued Resurgent Capital for unlawful credit reporting. I obtained a $6000 damage award, $1000 in fees and costs (the attorney kept $4000) but it cleaned my credit report.
I am going to do the same thing with Calvary Portfolio. Calvary is reporting an account as just becoming delinquent in 2009 when the account went delinquent in 2004.
So, I am going to tee it up the same way that I did the Resurgent case. When they think you do not have a lawyer waiting to sue they talk to you like a deadbeat and ignore your letters.
I received $1000 from all of the credit reporting agencies also except for TransUnion (apparently the lawyer has a friend their).
Anyway, if anyone is having any problems removing an account, email me and I will show you my letters. If you do it right, you get the negative info removed and some money.
My score is up to about a 677 and when I get this Calvary off, it should jump again.
How Do I upload my settlement agreement? So the debt collectors that troll this room get it?
