Is it better for your credit to get a personal loan, debt consolidation or bankruptcy due to credit card debt?

it depends all in your own particular situation. if you can elaborate more maybe we can help. If you just have a little debt and you are current it would be better to just get a personal loan and commit to paying it off and not using them again. now if your getting into trouble were your getting behind and such thats a different story and you will need a different plan such as consolidation or bk.

I would avoid bankruptcy if at all possible, that stays on your credit report for up to 10 years, although it really only affects your through the first few years. But it can have a negative impact on other areas of your life. A personal loan at a lower rate or consolidation are better if you can't reorg your finances to do it yourself. Good luck.
