I currently have payment arrangements with all my creditors and have been enjoying the silence...until yesterday. I received a call that I traced back to PDM in Missouri. They called yesterday (from 816-423-6000) and left a message regarding a "very urgent matter." Today the same women (with a southern accent) left a message for me at work regarding this same "very urgent matter" and said that she had a check that had not cleared my bank. She went on to say that she would "make a final decision by 5 p.m. today." Has anyone received a similar call? Is it better to return the call or to ignore and send a C&D letter?

i definitely would not call them back.this a bottomfeeder CA.file the necessary complaints against them.send a dv(debt validation)letter instead.send it certified mail return receipt.they can't do anything but call and threaten.
