cash call in Cali

I heard a commercial on the radio yesterday for Cash Call. They were advertising personal loans. They were offing loans for $2,500.00. They did say these loans are expensive but it is better they getting a payday loan. Wow, how can Cashcall charge so much interest and get away with it. I think cash call and payday loans are the same. How funny.
I defaulted on my CashCall loan and now I am starting to pay it back again. They lowered the interest rate by 40%.

I don't think that charging around 90% interest on personal loans is legal in CA.
