Sorry , cant login again: I received an e-mail from them saying it is urgent I contact them and take care of my account. It says the calls wont stop until then. What is your suggestions on this. Should I just continue to send my letters to them, and file complaints again. I just wonder if I try to contact them it may get ugly. When I login in and offer a settlement it denies it and counters with saying I owe way more than I really do so it wont accept my $300 & $200 that I really owe. So I feel that part is a waste of time. Has anyone delt with them and any suggestions at this point is great. Thank you

Isn't Ameriloan affiliated with United Cash Loans as well? There is quite a few d/b/a MTE Financial, and I found that Ameriloan, United Cash Loans, USFashCash and Preferred Cash Loans are all connected to MTE. I found this on the BBB website. I'm dealing with Ameriloan, well trying to. I talked to them for the first time since receiving the loan a few nights ago, but I emailed them Saturday so I can have something in writing, but I haven't heard back from them yet, I probably will not hear anything because I was asking for documentation and a license to lend in South Carolina. When I talked to them Friday evening, they 'didn't know' the license number and they 'assured' me that they would have to be licensed in every state to lend legally, lol. I told her, "Diane", that if she was so sure then it shouldn't be a problem to put me on hold while you get the license number...she got mad and transferred me to the GM, "Jeff"...and of course I couldn't get anywhere with him. He just kept saying, "So you're refusing to pay?", after everything that I said...I told him that when I get all the info that I need and when you guys accept money orders for a payments then I will pay you, until then, no. I wish I was able to record them, but I do not have the equipment yet. That's when I decided to email them, just to see if they would email me back. Should I call them again if I don't receive a reply by email? Just to see, again, if someone will give me license number and documentation regarding how much I owe? The website shows that I owe $410, but I know that is not right. When I tried to check 'payment history' on my account, there wasn't anything except the last date they tried to take out a payment, which was sometime in July 2009 for $150! (It was sent back due to insufficient funds though). Everything else that tried to go through before that date was not there, I know for a fact, that there used to be a record of payments sent and paid. I guess once you default, they 'erase' all the payment history. Smooth, real smooth!

Is it also true that they, Ameriloan and its affiliates, have 'tribal immunity'? I came across some info on the interent regarding that, I just want to know if there is any truth to that. And what does that mean for me? I would assume they couldn't sue like they say they are going to, wouldn't that waive their 'immunity' if they did?

I posted a reply earlier, and it wasn't showing up. So, I apologize if it does after I post this one:) Is Ameriloan affiliated with United Cash Loans? Aren't they also d/b/a MTE Financial? I read some things about on the BBB website. I'm dealing with Ameriloan right now, and they haven't returned my emails, yet. I talked to them Friday evening, and asked for documentation about my loan and a license number, they refused to give me both; they said I need to look on my bank statement, and they didn't know thier license number, which is total BS by the way! But they did 'reassure' me that they would have to be licensed in every state to lend legally, ha! So after that call, I sent them an email asking, yet again, for documents and a license number. I haven't received a reply. I might not, we will see.
Should I call them if I dont' receive a reply? Ask them again for a license number and documentation and see if anyone will give it to me?

Also, is it true that they, Ameriloan and its affiliates, have 'tribal immunity'? What does that mean for me? I would think they really can't sue, even though they threaten to, because that would waive thier immunity, correct?

Ashley: This company is a pain. They are not licensed. They think they can claim they are tribla and do what they want but thats not the case. I would suggest though is not to speak with them on the phone. They can be abusive. I would only respond by mail, fax or email. The less you speak to them the better you are. Just make sure you continue to file complaints agaisnt them. I file one a week just to be a pain. I only owe them whats left of my principal and nothing else. Now remember this if they threaten you to sue, garnish wages ect... they will not sue you cause they would have to come to your state and city to do so and no judge is going to accept their tribal excuse. If they came to our courts they would have to follow our laws and they are not doing so. You will never get the documentation you are asking for. Cause they dont have it. Stay strong. I know, I have some pretty bad days myself. We can support each other through this whole nightmare. Oh and do write your sentators I have been getting some great support from them. IT is election time for alot of them and this is our chance to get some help...

Yes, I have come to realize how much of a pain that are, unfortunatley. Thanks for the support. Sorry about the long comments, I just want to be sure I have all my bases covered, just incase they decide to email me 'laws'. Then, if they do, I can throw my laws and knowledge at them. I do want to pay the remaining balance, that I owe of course, but I'm not going to send them anything unless they follow my guidelines. I may not even owe them anything, I have one bank statement showing that 2 finance charges totaling $120 have been paid by my old bank, BB&T. I'm not sure if anything else was paid for, I have to go tomorrow and try and get statements proving any other amounts. So as of right now this is what I owe my current lenders:
Ameriloan-borrowed $200/paid$120/owe $80
Payday-Loan-Yes(a complete nightmare!!)-(B)-$350/(P)-$105/(O)-$245
GreenlightFunds-(B)-$200/(P)-154/(O)-$46
Note that there could've been more charges that went through, I just do not have the proof right now:)
So could I send Ameriloan a DV letter or no? They stated that they have an 'in-house' collection agency, and a DV letter is only for a third party lender, correct? What could I send them, one of the letters on this forum for illegal payday lenders? Maybe I will get a response from that, lol. I have already sent complaints for Payday-Loan-Yes, and thier so-called collection agency though, I haven't heard anything back as of yet.

I believe Ameriloan IS a part of the MTE/MNE "family:" all of whom are royal pains. They'll tell you all kind of nonsense, that you're supposed to obey the laws of THEIR State (which they don't even follow!), that if anyone connected with your State govt. says they'll illegal, that your State govt. is wrong (!!!), etc. You can ask for their license number but odds are, the only thing you'll get is a bunch of double-talk.
