I have been renewing my loan with checkintocash (storefront) for a yr now and I am tired. Its costing me $90 a month and I am getting no where. I have read about EPP but I am affraid to go inside the store. It seems these people can turn on you fast. I can pay it off in 4 payments with no problem. Has anyone here dealt with this company? Should I just call the corp office. I am affraid of retalation for just asking for a EPP. Any advise here would be great. I am just so tired.

This was posted at their website so if I were you, I would print this out and take it with you to the store and reinforce to them that were obviously instrumental in developing the standards for the industry, therefore, you are unfortunately in a position where you need to take advantage of the EPP.

Check Into Cash was instrumental in the organization of the Community Financial Services Association of America (CFSA) - the payday advance industry's trade association.
CFSA has established uniform "best practices" standards. Throughout the country, CFSA has helped enact legislation that balances consumers' interests with those of the industry.

You need to stand up for yourself, don't allow them to intimidate you, they have made a lot of money off of you this past year. If you want to get out of this vicious cycle then exercise your rights and request the payment plan. Check into Cash is a founding member of the CFSA so more than any other lender they should be more than happy to extend you an EPP.

I have repeatedly used check into cash for over a year. How do I go about requesting an EPP? I had no idea this was an option. I live in Ohio

Don't worry about courage, just go in there and request the EPP. It is not a big deal nor a lengthy negotiation. If you have any issues, just get the Customer Service on the wall and call it in. **Important** you must request the EPP before your account is due to be paid. DO NOT wait until the 19th.
