I am about to contact Langhorne Debt for help with my 7 pdls. I live in PA if that makes a difference. I saw one post that says it is a scam. Could anybody else (not from Langhorne) tell me about their experiences.

Are your pdl's Internet or store front. I wouldn't pay a debt company money to do something you can do yourself free. Besides that, Internet pdl's are prohibited in your state so they won't negotiate with Langhorn or any other debt company anyhow. When you are dealing with payday lenders it's best to find out if they are legal and licensed before you commit to a debt company. Illegal/unlicensed lenders are nothing more than criminals and while they may say they will negotiate they can not be trusted or believed. There may come a time when you think that you have all of them paid off, then a year down the road they will debit your account again out of the blue, or harass you and make threats to sue you, outrageous threats they will not follow through with. So, find out first if these lenders are licensed. As I said before, NO Internet pdl's are licensed to lend in your state because they are prohibited. If yours are Internet pdl's, CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.

If you will provide more information we will be better able to help you:
-Names of each pdl company.
-Whether they are store front or Internet.
-How much you borrowed.
-How much you paid so far.
-The state in which you reside.
I'm sorry to tell you this, but there is only one sure way to stop the withdrawals, and that is to close your account. If that isn't an option, then tell the bank to put a hard debit block on your account. Before you close your account, read this information at the link below. http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/close-account.html
Please do not let any of these pdl's know you are going to close your account, until AFTER you have done it!

Meanwhile, I am moving this to the payday loan help forum so more people will see it.

i agree with shazzers. i actually came to this board looking for information for langhorne (i live like 10 min from langhorne, pa and like that it was a local based company). however, the information i received here helped me tackle these on my own.. i did not have to pay a cent and i realized that my loans were not even legal and that i overpaid most of them. if you provide the answers to the questions that shazzers posted, we can help you here.
