Paying down credit cards
Date: Thu, 02/04/2010 - 18:17
I am currently repairing my credit. I have paid down 2 credit cards below 50% of credit limit. I did that in mid January. The credit card companies said that they reported my new balances on 1/31/10.
Today I ran my scores through myFICO. They have my credit card balances as of 12/2009.
How or when does FICO or Transunion/Equifax/Exper. take these new balances into consideration and is there a way to press the issue with them?
Any info is greatly appreciated.

Normally, credit bureaus update information in three months cycle. So it may come up when they would update the reports next time. You have to have patience in dealing with the bureaus.
