well I guess they are starting to call more. I have sent them letters several times filed all my complaints several times. Not responded to calls or emails, but now they are starting to call more. is there any advise from this point? I know the Dept. of Corp. told me to give them their number if I speak to them and tell them to call them. Maybe I should write them and tell them to that thats my new number, lol. well, not sure what to do now. I am ready to fight these guys. I guess Monday I will file another set of complaints and send letters out again.

Well they sent me a e-mail yesterday that stated I need to avoid negative credit reporting. That does not bother me cause I know I can dispute them. I am going ahead and doing another round of complaints against them tomorrow. My complaints are turning into books. ugh. and I have been able to avoid calls with caller ID. I just wish they would let me pay the remaining principal and let me move on.

Just want to be one step ahead of them on this. Thank you everyone here for all your help and time. I know I can be a pain sometimes.

I'm STILL getting calls from United Cash Loans, 2 years "after the fact." Oh well, I can keep hanging up as long as they want to keep calling. Anymore, it's usually a recorded message saying something like "this is an important message for Jane Doe. Please call us at...." Every once and a while I DO get "caught" and there's a live person on the line. When they identify themselves, I say "Oh, I thought it was someone important," and hang up.

Hi, what are they going to court for in May in Calif.? I know Calif. has tried before to get them to stop. But, wasn't there an appeal because of the indian tribal laws.

Curious.

yes,but california is contesting that claim because the actual pdl's are not located on tribal ground.they have a mail box,but nobody who is actually involved with these places is on tribal ground.

Too, I guess there might be some legal wrangling on exactly how much the tribe is involved w/ the PDL company? I wonder if they're just renting the mailbox, if people on the tribal grounds are actually employed by the PDLs, or?

well from what i gather.a scant few of the tribe are taking money from the pdl's.in turn they get the address.very few on the grounds are aware that this is going on.so i take that to mean they are just paying for the mailbox.their call centers are as far from"tribal ground"as can be.in fact they have a mission kansas address for their actual location.i hope something happens with this.

Kansas, huh? Ok, maybe the next time they call, if I'm up to it, I might have a bit of fun talking to them. In the past, if I've felt "silly," when they call I'll ask 'em how everthing is down at good old MNE on the reservation, everybody doing ok, that sort of thing; I don't give them a chance to start reading their script; in fact, on a few occasions, they've hung up on me! ;)

Well, I did file complaints against them with the OK Attorney General and got a letter stating they are looking to the company. Not sure how much will come of it. I sure hope the court throws there tribal excuse out the window. These few people are making alot of money off the tribe and the good people of the tribe will suffer.
