Hi, I received a 1099-A for my property from my 2nd mortgage company, but my home never foreclosed. What should I do with this?

Form 1099 A is issued when the property in question is foreclosed, repossessed by the lender or the lender has reasons that it has been abandoned by the owner. If none of the reasons hold true, you may try to find out about it by contacting the lender. There could possibly be a mixed up.
