Has anyone had any experience with using Counsel for Debt Solutions, John Leaberry PLLC to assist you in consolidating your un-secured credit card debts and, if so, was your experience a positive one.

:confused:no I don't suggest to go thru these people, my suggestion would be what I am going to do now, my own debt consolidation, put what I gave these people $350.00 in my own account and save that $350.00 non-refundable payment and the $49.00 payments I paid this company a month along with all the fees that they never said anything about and go about this the way you can find on the web, you make offers to the companies start with 70% of what you owed them, they will take your offer it costs them less than hireing a collection agency, and don't pay anything when a company says that they need an amount to keep your account open.......

I paid $376 as my first installment at the beginning of the repayment plan to John Leaberry and thereafter paid him $49 a month and each time they settled an account they took 25% of the difference between what was settled and the original amount of the debt.* I was never told they were going to take that 25% each time they settled.* When I go out to look at my credit reports they do not show that they are settled.* They say it was charged off as "bad credit" on my reports.* The last account I had to settle they told me that they were unable to reach an agreement with the company.* This debt originally was $15,000 and now I am being harrassed each month for the original amount plus approximately $2,000 each month until it is now up to $50,000. I would not advise anyone to go with this company or any other debt consolidation company.* I could have gotten a real Attorney cheaper than what I paid for this and would have had less stress and more money in my pocket.*

don't do any business with this company, they will take your money and give you less than acceptable results. Try settling the debt on your own that is what I did after this company screwed up my settlement with Citibank. Also here is another reason not to do business with John Leaberry http://www.state.wv.us/wvsca/docs/fall03/25794.pdf

In it you will see his involvement with a corrupt politician.
