I've recently gotten fed up with all of my debt. My wife and my debt is 75k (cc). We are current on our cards and have good rates but I do not
fore see us being able to sustain anymore payments. I'm reading all of the
experiences and wondering how do I start the communication process with my creditors. I'm on short term disability now and will be out for a couple more months. I'm caught in a quagmire of bills.. I know I will never pay these off so what's my next step. My creditors will not help just because I'm current; I'm actually being penalized for paying bills. Any suggestions
on what my first step should be? Should I save the money being sent to cc bills to catch up? 9 cc total--At the rate I'm going I'll have to work the rest of my life if I continue to pay. ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE...
