Thanks. .I was hoping it would be treated like a BofA CC. The actual card has the BofA name and logo on it; all statements show BofA and logo, just seemed odd that it also said American Express after the BofA on the card & statements. Any correspondence has also said BofA Credit Services. Hopefully after a few more months I can work out a settlement or at least get my interest rate down from +27%.

I have a BofA AE. I was concerned too until I noted that FIA owns this card. So to confirm what you suspect, I am speaking to BofA regarding a BofA Visa, a BofA AE, and a GM Mastercard, which they also own. I am two months late in mid-March. They call all the time. Hope you keep posting your experiences with them. Good luck.

if you dont care about your credit score getting dinged, settle it and save hopefully around 80% at 180 days late.
if they adjust your interest rate they usually only do it for 12 months or so, sometimes they even lower your payment to interest only getting you no where.
watch out and make sure whatever it is benefits you not them.
