Debt..Debt...Debt...

I haven't been on here in a long time. Thought I would come back to see if anything has changed. At one point in 2008 I had credit card debt, 15 pay day loans out, a self-employed husband in this economy, etc. I thought that pdl's were the answer to get us through. They were not, as we all know, and this forum helped me get rid of them. Thank you for all the help on here. My advice is: Please, please, please...do whatever it takes to rid yourselves of these loans. I had to sell some belongings that I really didn't want to, and do without things I "wanted". It's all about tough choices. I also filed a chapter 13 which I never should have done, it was dismissed because the payments were too high so I converted to a chapter 7. I have to say, although filing for bankruptcy was a tough decision, it was the right one for me. I am looking forward instead of looking back. My attorney some very wise words: cash is king. Those are the words I live by now.
So, thank you to this forum...because if I had not found this information back in 2008 I would probably still be dealing with the scum that lend these loans. Good luck to you all.
