SOL Origination State vs Current Location

Which states SOL applies, the state that the credit card/loan was originated or the state that I currently live in?
The state you currently live in is the one you need to go by. W
The state you currently live in is the one you need to go by. When you move out of a state, you are no longer under that state's jurisdiction, and so they cannot require you to abide by their state laws anymore in situations like these.

Normally, the SOL of the state where you are residing currently would apply but if you have shifted only recently then the SOL of the earlier state might apply too.
