(760) 923-1724 They say they are Oakview Law Firm out of California. However I called Oak View and they said that they are just a debt consolidation firm, and they dont make collection calls, or calls threatening to send an investigator to your job.

Do not pay any attention to them. It is pay day loan scare tactics. Have them send proof that you took out this loan.

Start recording these anonymous phone calls and report them to the FTC and other law enforcement agencies in your area.

This person that called you is a con artist and just wants precisely to scare you as much as possible. You will have to wait and see if he dares to go to your workplace. But I know he will not. If you have all the evidence you didnot take any loan, then the least this person should do is sent or give you the legitimate info for you to check if it is true. Don't give in, and don't fear. This is exactly what he wants.

I too have been receiving very threatening calls from this number. Now they claim to be "Crime Center of America". I would like to send them a cease and desist letter but cant get the mailing address or fax number to do so.
