Why does Takhar Group make scam calls even though we owe them nothing?

This company has a rating of "F" on the Better Business Bureau's website. (A+ is the best, and F is the worst!). They have had 92 complaints in the past 36 months.

I have a friend who is disabled and has a hard time getting to the phone when it rings. She has been receiving calls from Takhar aprox. every 20 minutes for days now. The last phone call I answered and they asked for Cherry Miller. I reamed them a new one and, told them there is NO Cherry Miller at this number. They continued to talk like they didn't hear a word of what I just said. I threatened to report them if they called back. I'm sure they will.

These are rude monsters too. Saying decent people would return a call. I don't answer 800 numbers I don't know and without info will not call them. They use different scare tactics like you are not decent if you don't call, to get you to return the call. I thought it sounded fishy. Good luck to those stuck with them.

They call me 2 or 3 times a day. 8 am to 9 pm. They said I have a 3yr old account from some childrens book club. I have no children that can read. 3 years ago I had no children period. I went to the police because they got very rude with me and kept asking for my account info and debit card number. I asked for a paper statent and they refused. After I went to the police. The police contacted them. Then not even an hour later I got another hateful call. I believe it is a scam and hope they don't scam anyone out of their savings

I'm getting daily calls too. I have a stellar credit report and am confident I owe no one nothing. What can I do to stop these calls..

I keep getting harrassing calls from takor group for debts for which i can not identify. Turn in these culprits to your state and federal government officials.

received harrassing calls from Allied Interstate from India saying we owed $100 for a bank in West Palm Beach Florida. when I call the bank I get the wrong number or a recording. Can these people put this on my credit report? We do not owe this and they have the wrong person with the same name.

I've rec'd calls from them about an old Columia account. They say I have already paid 138.19 and still owe 38.42 I told them I havn't pd anything and I didn't order anything they asked if I had anyone else in the house that could have I replied thats none of their business they even have my name spelt wrong and still wouldn't back down and won't send a statement said they already did back in August that someone must have took it and how was I goin to take care of this? I said I wasn't till I get a statement they said they couldn't but to go online to their e-mail to see it.
Don't know how to stop this!!!!!!!!!!

File complainst about them with the FTC and your respective states' AG. A considerable number of complaints will make FTC to act against them.

im only a teen and they keep clling me to tell me that a person with basic decency would call back

they call me ALL THE TIME it's like they're telling me that i need to keep rejecting their calls

why would they say someone decent would call back if they dont answer their own call?

Yes, it has to be a scam they've called me 2 or 3 times daily for months, i finally called them back and when i refused to give them my address without knowing why they are calling me they hung up on me. If i truly owed them money and im so hard to get ahold of you wouldnt hang up on me, SO ANNOYING!

They are calling me from months and I told hundred of times to update information that they called wrong number.Now they started leaving annoying messages like, you should have basic decency to call us back....

They keep calling me too staing that I owe $115. I was dumb. I paid them $115. They keep calling me stating that I owe them an additional $65. I almost lost my job because they kept calling even though I asked them not to call me at work which I why i was forced to pay it. They told me do be an adult and call them back. Please do not be as dumb as I was. Please check into this before you pay them.

This company keeps calling, Leaves messages, I call back no human answers. I have recieved no bill collection letters, no emails, and no calls before this company calling me. My credit score is in the 800's. I want the calls to stop. Maybe it is for someone else one number off or something but.

Our Attorney Generals office told us that when they call blow a whistle in the phone lol. We have had calls by other scammers and done that and got no return calls. We will be doing it to this group if they call back trust me. We found out it is originating from the Montel Williams commercial offering money within 24 hours. If you call the numbr or go to the website they get your information and the calls start.
Get a whistle and blow it in their ear next time they call.

These people keep calling me, they are VERY rude..no one calls me and leaves a # for ME to ca;ll. I am very old fashioned..I believe in being direct when contacting some one..One more call from you people and you will be reported.
